Pictured above is Stephen Byrne, April's Football Fantasy joint manager of the month along with Brian "Buster" Douglas. Stephen comes from Aonfocaleile, a small town in the south side of Dublin. He is a qualified electrician working for Martin Cahill enterprises. Stephen plays football for his local club, Ballydung Celtic, and recently appeared on the X Factor singing "The Town I Loved So Well." Stephen's younger brother Jack is currently being closed monitored by some premier division clubs and is hoping for a move across seas when he turns 14 next year. Stephen lives at home with his mother Jackie, older sister, Jack and their 2 year old puppy boxer, Tyson. Congratulations budiner from all at Vaughan's Public House, and remember – this month is the last month for this season's Football Fantasy, so stay posted for exciting details of next season's competition as a major new sponsor will be announced early next month. Due to the global economic prices, the management and Football Fantasy committee members have voted unamiously to "freeze any price increase" for next year, and remember the top 4 finishers this season gain automatic free entry for 2009/10. A big ups for all those for playing this year and a special congratulations to Sarah and Trevor Vaughan, who are making me an uncle and expecting the next Celtic number nine in early September! Good luck to all this month and remember to always brush your teeth before going to bed. |
